The Canary Islands has its own section as any holiday there is likely to be resort based. The islands are too small for a road trip and I can’t imagine just spending time in one place so they don’t qualify as city breaks.
Most of the Canary Island resorts we have stayed in are pretty basic as they are just a base for exploring. We rarely use the resort facilities and to be honest spend very little time at the resort itself.
